Pre-Apprenticeships

Young people will take pre-apprentice classes and experience applied learning opportunities during the school day as elective, credit-bearing classes. Pre-apprenticeship students will be connected with mentors from their communities and gain practical and applied experiential learning that accurately simulates the conditions in occupations of interest.

Registered Apprenticeships

Registered apprenticeship programs provide opportunities for applied learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom. They have gained national attention as a best practice in workforce development. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. had nearly 27,000 registered apprenticeship programs in 2021.
