Center for Collaborative Education’s Community Partnerships for Teacher Pathway Gala

Local media is encouraged to schedule interviews with those available before, during and after the event. A limited number of press passes are offered for those who can attend in person. We ask that you not reserve a pass if you cannot commit to attending.

Please contact Diana Williams to schedule interviews in advance and to request press passes. Those approved for a pass can also opt to reserve a time for interviews on the event day.

Overview

The Center for Collaborative Education’s (CCE) Community Partnerships for Teacher Pathway (CPTP) program is celebrating its third year with an October gala featuring keynote speaker, Dr. Patrick Camangian. The gala celebrates the progress and impact of the project as well as the more than 400 student participants, teacher mentors and community partners committed to strengthening the pathways to teaching as well as the profession itself.

The Center for Collaboration (CCE) replaces failed factory models with an innovative approach that partners schools with the communities that house them, leading to improved community voice and ownership as well as increased educational equity to ensure student success and community prosperity. CPTP is an exploration program that’s a part of CCE’s educator pathways.
